I love taking photos of people doing their thing.
“In Their Element” (2022) features women empowered in their work, their families, in the world, and in themselves. In this show that ran for two months in early 2020, eight women have a larger-than-life presence: tranquil and fierce, alone and together, in focused stillness and lost in a blur.
My photography has appeared in Nature (2022), The Seattle Times (2016 and 2022), Under the Lid (Steve Brady, 2022), The Neuroscience of You (Chantel Prat, Dutton, 2022), and Van Magazine (2016). I’ve photographed authors, artists, musicians, conductors, composers, orchestras, bands, and the occasional kiddo.
